Physically, an average man should be able to slap harder than an average woman.  Thanks a lot sexual dimorphism. However, take a man and a woman of the same size and build and it should be nearly equal.

What's the likelihood of a man slapping rather than punching compared to a woman in the same situation (lets say a bar fight against the same s*x)?  Women are more likely to slap since it's considered the social norm while men start out with punches.  At least, at first.
