Who studies earth , rocks, landscape?

looking around at careers: geology, geography, astronomy, etc. i am curious to know who studies earth, land, rocks, etc? i am not big into chemistry due to chemicals...im not a fan of being around that. i am into computers. are there any careers that study this kind of stuff but do not require chemistry as a daily duty....?

  1. Geologist study Earth like rocks, land, water, etc.

       Unfortunately, geology requires daily chemistry. But, for meteorology, it doesn't really require lots of chemistry.


  2. I'm a geologist and I don't use chemistry everyday. You have to take the classes but the chemistry geologist use is not with chemicals really.

    You can be a mining specialist, a petroleum geologist, a researcher, a mapper, a mineralogist or a petrologist (just conceptual chemistry,not lab chemistry), a paleontologist, a stratigrapher, a sedimentologist, the list goes one.
