For most of my life there's been a stock car race on Sunday afternoon. Saturday night races are great and all, but they sometimes run way too late and then there's nothing happening Sunday afternoon, unless one of the other series is racing.

I only get depressed on off weeks and the off season.  Sunday afternoon, the race is still on!  If it is just over, I am still letting the results sink in, checking fantasy teams, etc...

i get sad when he has a bad night! it bothers me for a week.... can not stand to see tony upset!

See if you had gotten a better start in life your broader spectrum of interests would have allowed you to watch Indy, too; and you would not be in such "motor-madness" withdrawal.

Yeah it sucks having to wait a week for another race and on weeks off it's even worse, I try to fill the void by watching speed and Nascar now and getting on YA to see what all of you are saying!!

Me too! About 6 days of depression and one nice day of anticipation and excitement for the next one. I just discovered this site and like WGRW says it helps a lot. My other crutch is Dirt to Daytona. Keep up the great questions and answers everybody, together we can make it!

I do it about kills me to have to wait till the weekends! It seems like it takes forever for just a week to pass!

I wouldn't go that far, but I do enjoy being able to kick back and watch a race or football game on any day of the week.

I do!! And when they take a week off for Easter and other holidays it's just that much worse. I can't take it!!
