It's hard to judge who is better.

Dirks jump shooting ability will negate Howards rebounding and blocking by shooting from outside. If he were to guard him.

Dwights overall athletic ability is superiour to Dirks.

So I'll go with Dirk. I think he has a higher basketball IQ only because he's got years of NBA experience over him.

I don't know who is better, each of them has their own unique specialties.

Dirk is more of a offensive threat than DW because he can take jump shots from almost anywhere on the court and can also post up, where as DW is more of a post up player that scores in the paint or off a pass.

Defensively, DW does a way better job than Dirk.  He gets double digit rebounds and a few blocks per game.  Dirk doesn't contribute much on the defensive end.

Also, DW is much MUCH younger than Dirk, which means he has tons of time to develop to be an even better player.
