Who the h**l is pavlik going to fight next?

The undisputed middleweight champion is coming off 4 dominating wins 3 by KO, but whose next at middleweight a fight with john duddy was abandoned cus of the cuts he suffered on the 23rd, a fight with trinidad was crossed out b/c his father dosent want him fighting pavlik, so whose next?Talks about abraham but only for the undercard of tht fight, a clash at the end of the year would be great. Also talks of him fighting a guy named GAry lockett???HE is ranked 27 at middleweight and is 30-1 and hasnt fought a significant opponent in his career. But if you hear anything about who hes fighting say it?

He is fighting Gary Locket next.  You're right- Locket has not fought a significant fight in his career and he is not ranked in the true top 10 rankings, but he is somehow ranked number 1 in the world by the WBO, and is their mandatory challenger.  So, even though I would have liked to see Pavlik face a bigger name or at least a top 10 guy, at least he is getting a mandatory out of the way.

Yeah Gary Lockett is the next guy up who's about to be the next guy knocked out, he's just a tune-up fight for Pavlik, i have heard rumors of him fighting Arthur Abraham and possibly Wink Wright at the end of the year. I have also heard that Pavlik's management team was in talks with John Duddy for a September fight, out of the 3, John Duddy is possibly the most likely fight for him because Pavlik's people have actually spoken to Duddy's team.

I think that the hopkins v. calzage winner makes the most sense.......but if i was kelly i would fight a less then fighter to build my name and bankroll before taking another big risk like calzage.
