  1. I agree with Stupid Flanders.

  2. well i am a yankee fan.. i think the red soxes will make the wild card.. but the rays will win the al. i think the angels and chicago in the world series.

  3. HAHAHA NO!!! They aren't even winning AL East!!!

I think the Angels will win AL but probably not the series.

    GO Yankees!!!

  4. No, they will not win the AL.

Anythings possible but I'd like to see a team other than BOS, LAA win the WS.

Cubs v Rays WS would be a nice break.

  5. You can't predict what will happen on the playoffs.

Red Sox need to worry about making the playoffs, first.

  6. YES, wild card...

  7. I'm a Red Sox fan, too.  As much as I'd LOVE to see it, I don't think this is our year.  Here's my prediction:

AL East goes to Tampa Bay (I keep waiting for them to collapse, but so far, that's not happening...)

AL Wild Card goes to Boston (Yankees get an early winter vacation)

Boston gets eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, because they'll play the Angels.  The Angels will go to the World Series, where they'll face the Cubs (although I'd really like to see the Phillies get in there...).  I'll root for the Cubs, and the Angels will take them in 6 games.

But yes, what I'd LIKE to have happen is the Sox going all the way...just don't see it in the cards this year.  :-(   I hope they prove me wrong!!

  8. I believe the Red Sox have missed a great opportunity to close the gap with the Rays with Crawford and Longoria on the shelf with injuries.  If the Rays just go 16-15 in their remaining 31 games the Red Sox would have to go 20-10 in their remaining 30 games to finish ahead of them in the division race, and that would not be an easy task.  With Longoria coming back soon I really think the Red Sox will be fighting with the Twins for the wild card and I would give the Red Sox the edge.  As far as the playoffs go, anything can happen in a short series and the Red Sox would be in tough against the other AL playoff teams.

  9. here's my prediction

al central(why won't anybody mention it I'll never know) white just barely.

al wild card: the twins!! that's right!

    AL east-the rays

    al west-La Angels

ALCS-white sox and angels rematch of 05 ALcs

  10. CUBS,,,,let it be the Chicago Cubs....that's who I am rooting for.

beyond that..the Red Sox are a brave little team and I am sure they will do much this season.

  11. They have a real shot at it. The Wild card that is. Unless all of the Rays are injured and the lose the majority of there games, they are almost a lock for AL east. Even then all of their players that are playing in place of injured players have made a big impact. Everybody just keep sitting back and wait for them to fall, its not happening. After all they have done this year, they deserve it. The Rays still have to play the Yankees, Red sox, and Twins, how well they play those games should show how they will play in the in post season. Depending on where they play is a factor too. The Rays have owned the Red sox, and the Angles as well, (Cubs too, just in case anybody is looking for that to be a WS match up. That would be played in Tropicana Field) at home this year. Longoria should be returning next week, and around post season Crawford will be back.   So no they will not win the AL. Also Longoria should win rookie of the year over Jacoby.

  12. Sox in the wild card but the AL Champs will be the LA Angels.
