Who think's it's been a bad weekend for british sport?

England/Scotland lost at football. England lost at rugby world cup finals, Lewis Hamilton had to settle for second. Plus i think Ronnie O'sullivan came second aswell.

So who agrees its been a bad weekend. As britian have had to settle for runner up in everything lol.

I disagree.

Who would have thought  a few weeks ago that England would have even been in the World cup final. As far as I am concerned they did damned well just to get there.

Who would have been prepared in March to put a bet on Lewis Hamilton being in a position to win the championship, it was his car let him down at the end. He came second in his rookie year That's no mean feat.

I am proud of the English ruby team they did us proud, we are only a small country you know, i don't think we do that bad.

Lewis Hamilton came second he's fantastic, just give him a few more years, people are always so down in this country, must be the weather eh?

its been a nightmare, and europe lost in the 10 pin bowling last night to the usa, like u said ronnie lost the snooker, england lost the world cup, lewis hamilton losing the title, but it could have been worse at least we went all the way, beter than most other countrys.

It has been an absolutely awful as you say.

England lost against Russia at football, Scotland lost to Georgia at football, England lost the Rugby World Cup Final, Lewis Hamilton messed up in F1 and O'Sullivan lost to Marco Fu in snooker.

A dreadful weekend, lets hope things get better!

it has been a good weekend, but for lewis hamilton to come second in his first eyar is a brilliant acheivment, and for our rugby team to become runners up is gd  because they tried so hard and we wasnt expected 2 do well id say its been good

depends on your definition of bad, second in the rugby, we were expected to get knocked out in the first round

Lewis Hamilton second in the F1 world championship, i think at the start of the season he would have been happy with second, i dint be live he will be saying hes had a bad season.

Sullivan came second, well that's OK its better than coming 145th.

an English man won the golf in Portugal!!

an Englishman won some bike racing (don't know much about it, James something?)

all in all not the worst weeknd in the history of sport!!!
