Who think's we are living in the 'prohibition era',as far as drugs are concerned?

In a way, I suppose, if only the law would have a 100% clampdown on it!. We are living in a free for all age of drugs. A total cesspit as far as I'm concerned, where kids as young as 10 can more or less get what they like. The police are too busy chasing speeding motorists and tax disk dodgers to target these tossers that supply and take the stuff. Organised crime and more than half of the crime in England is drugs related. The government doesn't help by reclassifying the stuff, confusing everyone into thinking - 'well that's alright then'. If I spot anyone either supplying or taking, they are 'grassed up' and reported - simply as that. It takes but one discreet phone call as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, i'm against drug use.  But it does look like a battle that can't be won.  It should be legalized that way the criminality in drug trafficking is erased.  take the power away from the criminals who kill for their profits

Considering that half the people in federal prison are in there for drug related crimes I would say yes.

not really. i mean most of those drugs are really doing more harm than good anyway. i do think its BS that most of the people in federal prisons were users and not dealers but they shouldnt of gotten in that mess in the first place.

Drugs are used by fools. Period. Thumbs down me all you want to. I'm one of the guys who has seen many times what "recreational" use of drugs does to a lot of people.

Please don't try comparing alcohol. Beer, wine, whiskey all have a "flavor" to them that appeals to many, but many don't use alcohol for the sole purpose of getting stoned compared to dumb drug users.
