  1. That would've been a nice ending, but it wouldn't be practical.  Even  though I was a "Light fan," I was content with the way the show ended.  Mikami ended up costing Light everything, which was crazy.  I did, however, like the show way better when L was on there, L was tught.  It got kind of weird after he died.

  2. s***w whatever happens to the world, I just want Light back!

  3. I agreed with Light too! That it would be a peaceful world with no crime =)

but once Matt died, I learned the truth. It wouldn't be a peaceful world! If people who barely did a crime died [LIKE MATT T_T!!!] then what world would it be?!

[Loved freaking Matt ^_^ AND L!!]

But yeah, I wish he wouldn't have died too, and the ending scared me 0_o [I cried when I saw Light seeing L =(].. but to think if Light went on the way he did, he would contradict his own rules and cause more chaos.. Killing people just because they did a crime, is a crime, and look at what happened to his family! That deathnote brought insanity and destruction to ones that came in contact with Light, so it was best if Light would of died so the story could end. [like it never happened]

  4. Yes, he should have been allowed to create his peaceful world... from the very beginning.  I wouldn't have even minded if he was the god of that world.  But his true intentions went far beyond that, and it was revealed every once in a while, like when Takada told the world that "Kira will not tolerate lazy people who aren't putting their skills to use".  Yagami desperately wanted get in contact with Mikami to tell him "No, it's too early for that!"  which tells us that he planned on doing it eventually, and that sort of rule is no different from that of a despot or dictator!

However, I maintain that the peaceful world would probably have become reality if only he hadn't been opposed!  It was not until people started trying to find and stop him and Yagami faced the death penalty that he felt he had no choice but to eliminate all of them, even though they were not criminals.  But unfortunately the most important thing, the thing he couldn't change, is the fact that in this world people have free will, and some are bound to disagree and say that killing criminals should be treated the same as any other murder.  And one of those people happens to be another genius!

Once he started feeling the pressure and having to use all his intelligence just to keep from getting caught, he went beyond killing innocents.  I think he just cracked under the pressure!  He maintained a double-life (triple if you count Yagami, L, and Kira) successfully for 6 years, but the cost for all his success was his sanity.

Remember when he was running from the Yellow Box, knowing it was all over, and his mind went to flashbacks of his old self?  That is what made it sooo sad, because in the end there was no longer any Light Yagami, there was only Kira, and Kira did have to die.

    = )

  5. No. That was not a peaceful world.

That was a world of fear and dictatorship. You cannot create a world without crime by being a criminal yourself. And no human has the right to pass final judgment on another. War and execution are two different things. Execution is immoral.

  6. i do think he should hav died becus he killed L

after L died the anime pretty much got boring at least for me

there wasnt as much rivalry or psychological battles anymore
