  1. general studies was a waste of f*cking time... id rather have been home catchin up on sleep.

  2. Who wouldn't want that? Stephen Fry, Alan Davies and the likes of people like Jo Brand, Dara O'Briain, Bill Bailey, Phil Jupitus, Rich Hall, David Mitchell and maaaany many more as guests. I learn a lot from QI, I wish I could watch it all the time. I would love an episode with really big teams made up of all my favourite comedians. *Sigh* As you can see I have no life.

  3. You've got the right idea, Geoff!! That is the best idea I've ever heard!

  4. LOL general studies was and is a waster of time! I know people who actually drew pictures on the paper. I don't blame them- it's ridiculous seeing as close to none universities accept it anyway!

  5. well the only problem is we'd learn everything from letters A-E and then nothing else.

    but it would be funnier...

  6. General Studies is a waste of time for everybody. The kids don't learn anything and all the half-decent or better unis don't accept it. Being forced to watch one episode of "Countdown" per week would give them more mental stimulation, as well as improving their English and Maths - a lot more important than what you find on the GS curriculum.

  7. general studies.... i went to one haha

  8. i completely agree with you! general studies is pointless, and nobody does anything in it anyway! XD

  9. our sixth form doesnt even teach bloody general studies .. yet we still had to do the exam!!! grrrrr

  10. I like the way You think.

  11. d**n rite, the only thing i can remember of general studies id playing room 101 in like the 2nd ever lesson and someone talked about gilian mckeith and why does she look @ poo, which was hilarious

i love QI, stephen fry is like a genus and alan davies is just like every1 in general studies --> always pointing out the obvious

maybe the exam should be identifying the episode and maybe i wouldn't have forgotten about my general studies exam and missed it.

in gs, i never even had a room for it and spent half a lesson finding the teacher then wandering down corridors looking for a room.

and i didn't even sign up for it,  i oly knew about it when it appeare don the timetable.

in my college we have a subject for 2 1/2 hours in morn and 2 hours in afternoon (double lessons). even though gs was only an hour long, give me double chemistry any day!

I GOT A C IN IT FOR DOING NOTHING FOR 2 WEEKS, GUESSING ALL THE ANSWERS AND MISSING AN EXAM
