restrict imports in an effort to strengthen our own economy. close our borders for people seeking to work in America(temporarily) and offer fewer social equalization programs to reinvest taxpayers money into social security for our soon to retire citizens. i agree wholeheartedly with taxing companies who move offshore to reduce their tax liability, and that capitol gains taxes and income taxes should be an equal percentage among all taxpayers. just increase the standard deduction and the less you make the less you will pay in taxes. at a lower rate of taxation, americans will be better able to dig themselves out of a hole, while the deficit will still be reduced.

  1. Putting ourselves into isolation would be a very bad idea at this point. Our relations with other countries are at an all time low at the moment and cutting ourselves off from everyone would break all ties that we currently have and reduce our chances of building ties with other countries. What we need to do at this point is build foreign relations with other countries so if anything should happen we will have a strong support system to fall back on. The world's opinion of America is rather poor at the moment and cutting ourselves off will only bring us further down in the eyes of other countries.
