Who thinks Bahamas and Jamaica won the olympics?

Question

Considering their small population and total lack of government funding, isn't it reasonable to say that in some way the Bahamas, Jamaica (and also Armenia) won?

I just checked out the medal counts per population and per trillion dollars invested. Pretty amazing that those countries could get any medals at all!

They had a good showing, but these games will go down as China's in more than just the gold medal count.

On the track they certainly did. The American teams dropping the batons just showed what a shocker of an Olympics they had on the track.

i wouldnt say they won, but they were amazing. They both put on a great show

I also believe that China kicked *** during these olympics. but jamaica were great in the 100 and 200 meter with both sexes. and I think that those is the events followed by most spectators, at least two of the most popular events. Usian Bolt's demonstration of total power in both 100 and 200 meter finals was incredible, and the total jamaican control on the female side in the 100 meter was also very cool:)

Yeah it's pretty amazing, but they only got medals in one thing, running while China, US, Britain got medals in every event. I wouldn't think Jamaica are winners, just champions of running.

i agree that it is pretty amazing but i dont think they won the olympics.
