Good question, im really not sure, but it can't be any worse then the U.S. They both have their ups and downs. Just guess it depends on the exact location. :).... Except up North.. I hear it's nearly unbearable.

Every country has good things and bad things about its weather.  Think about hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, wind storms, thyphoons, tropical humidity, monsoons, etc.  Canada's weather has its ups and downs, but it mostly rather temperate, with great summers.

I live about an hour north of Toronto and since that last huge snowstorm, I really don't think we have much to complain about.  Spring is only 2 weeks old!  Our temperatures have been a bit below normal but remember that normal for this time of year is about 7 degrees.  The cold nights are helping to slow down the melting, as well as the amount of flooding.  Soon enough you will be complaining that the nights are too hot and it costs too much to run your air conditioning.

For the record, I saw 2 robins yesterday (a sure sign of spring) and there have been flowers popping up in my backyard for the last 2 weeks

Southern Alberta has some great winter weather. For the past 7 yrs we have had a brown and warm Christmas. Snow hasn't arrived till after Jan 1st. Right now its sunny, no snow and +10*C. Just sucks Eastern Canada got hit HARD this year with crapola winter weather. What did you guys do to tick off mother nature.
