Who thinks Evangelicals LIKE Palin?

Rev. Voddie Baucham: "Unfortunately, Christians appear to be headed toward a hairpin turn at breakneck speed without the slightest clue as to the danger ahead. I don’t see this as a pro-family pick at all! Moreover, I believe the conservative fervor over this pick shows how politicized Christians have become at the expense of maintaining a prophetic voice. I believe that Mr. McCain has proven with his VP pick that he is pro-victory, not pro-family. In fact, I believe this was the anti-family pick.

The more I learn about the choices this woman has made, the less inclined I am to see Mr. McCain’s choice as pro-family.

Not only do I believe that a pro-family candidate would prefer to see Mrs. Palin at home taking care of her children, I believe a pro-family candidate would also avoid validating and advancing our culture’s desire to completely erase gender roles.

In an effort to win the pro-family political argument, we are sacrificing the pro-family biblical argument. In essence, the message being sent to women by conservative Christians backing McCain/Palin is, "It’s ok to sacrifice your family on the altar of your career; just don’t have an abortion."

(even if your daughter really had the baby, and you stole it, Palin)

How pro-family is that?

  1. That's an interesting spin.  Seeing as I'm not Evangelical, I always assumed they would like it.  I guess they are the only ones who know!

  2. If this is your best argument then you clearly have no faith in Obama's ability to lead.

  3. Would you ask the same question if she was a man....

    SEXISM here we go again.

  4. Bottom line is that 99% chances are that Mccain is probably going to lose the election with a pick like Sarah Palin

  5. They love her b/c she is pro choice.

  6. Yeah, I can really see the Evangelicals supporting a frigging BABY KILLER LIKE OBAMA AND BIDEN. Get it together, you probably have never even set foot in a church, so shut up. We will see in November who has what it takes. Sarah Palin in not just a fluke, they put her in this race for a reason. So when Obama gets his butt beat, it won't look like it was on purpose. Peace.

  7. Well I have heard many evangelicals state they liked Sarah Palin and some have said they now support McCain because of his choice. So I guess that depends on the person. As for your comment that her daughter had the baby and not her, I hate to break it to you , but there is much more likelihood that Sarah Palin had the baby as the baby has down syndrome and that is most commonly found in mothers that are older.
