Lol, after the fight Chad Johnson said he was moving on. That means no rematch and I feel he is afraid of Glen. I mean all your favorite fighters do not watch to fight Glen Johnson. He never been knocked down. Also, most of the fights he lost by decision should have went his way in my opinion. Glen said that up and coming fighters always get the decision no matter how hard he fights. I agree and its also a popularity contest.

  1. I can't really say that he was ripped off because i think that if you say something like that that it should be referencing a fight where the loser on the scorecards was the clear and obvious winner......... I don't think that was the case with this fight....... I don't keep score by round when i'm watching so i really cannot say how I would've scored the fight but just watching it it appeared that the fight was very competitive and that neither fighter was really superior to the other......... after the fight I was thinking that it was one of those fights that was so close that it was clear they needed a rematch to settle the debate of just who is the better fighter(i know it's not going to happen........ just saying what my opinion was).    I do think that Glen Johnson has every right to be bothered by the scores that were read though...........I believe he lost by 4 points on all three judges scorecards............. so are we to believe that even Johnson had knocked Dawson a few times when he had him in trouble that Johnson would still lose by a point or two???    I think we all know the answer to that one......... it really is a shame that the scores were so one sided........... it makes it so much worse when it goes against a guy who up there in age........

  2. It wasn't even a close fight like some idiots online say it was, how was it close when Glen blocked nearly all the punches Chad Dawson threw? Not only that Chad Dawson missed a bit of his punches aswell. I had this fight scored 8-4 rounds for a glen johnson victory. This is like if they robbed nate campbell against Juan Diaz. And sadly one of the dumb judges had Juan Diaz beating Nate Campbell in that fight. It's disgusting that they let these old judges do fights when they can't even see out of there eyes.

  3. You mean Chad Dawson!!Well it was a great fight but 116 to 112 wasnt right at all!!But thats boxing

  4. I thought it was a really close fight that could have gone either way or been scored a draw.  I think the 116-112 scores across the board were a bit too one-sided.  I personally had Dawson winning by 115-113, but like I said, I could have seen a Johnson victory or a draw.  I really felt for Johnson afterwards because he really has been robbed a lot of times in his career, and this was a hard defeat for him to swallow.  I wouldn't call it a robbery because I thought Dawson won, but I understood Glen's frustration because its like he said- he's worked hard all his career, and the decisions are constantly going in favor of the bigger names.  As for being afraid of Glen; I just think that Chad doesn't want to get back in the ring with somebody who just gave him the fight of his life, and he wants the bigger name and bigger money fights such as Antonio Tarver (who beat Woods on the same card), the winner of Hopkins-Calzaghe, or Roy Jones, Jr.  Even though I don't think he is afraid, I could understand if someone said he was scared because you could tell by the way he was talking that there was no way he wanted to fight a rematch with Glen.  Overall, it was a good, competitive, close fight that could have gone either way and I was impressed by both guys, and I don't think that either's status has gone down after this fight.

  5. A draw or split decision win I could have understood but Johnson had Dawson hurt a couple times and won the last three rounds solidly and two early rounds and one other round could have been argued that he may have won by two points. 114-114 115-113 either way but I felt Johnson was robbed. He was the aggressor and he landed the harder more effective punches.

  6. Yes, Glen Johnson, was cheated.  He really should have won this fight.
