They hire Brad Coleman as a full time driver so he leaved Brewco Motorsports and then HOF splits is car with two other drivers. It doesn't seem right to me.

  1. maybe he should have read his contract a little closer

  2. I was under the impression that the ride would be split for the rest of this season between Kenny and Joey. Ken is being used for his years experience to get the 96 somewhat competitive. Joey is getting seat time for the COT and full blown run at ROTY next season.

Brad will be test driver for HOF for the remainder of the season and will be their driver for next season, as I understand it.

  3. they are stinky butt ho kyle petty

  4. sounds like a bunch of bull

then again HOF might not be around to much longer

  5. It's definitely wrong, I feel sorry for Brad, but at the same time, what was Brad thinking getting into the #96, which has underperformed this year. HOF Racing should've stuck with Brad through all the races instead hiring other part-time drivers. Hopefully Brad can get his ride back with Brewco Motorsports.

  6. I was ticked when I had heard the announcers talking about that last week. He gave up a full time gig to drive the #96 and I would have too. I like Brad because he is quite and I got to meet him at the Texas Busch race in 2006 here in Texas. Super nice guy. Tall drink of water too.He doesn't have anything now to fall back on because I don't think Brewco motorsports would take him back. He is a good driver and I think he will land on a good team here pretty quick. Another reason I like the kid is that he is from Houston Texas.

Good luck to Elliott tonight!!!(***fingers crossed)*** NOT! Im kiddin, I'm tired of losing bets! LOL

  7. I agree it is not right. They should have never gotten rid of Tony Raines.

He kept the car in the top 35.

  8. It happens everyday unfortunately. The silver lining is that other teams have seen him compete and know what his abilities are and chances are he will be picked before you know it.

  9. Isn't it just for the remainder of the year? I think Brad will do fine either way though.

  10. Your'e right. Thats pretty wierd.

JJ Yeley, in my opinion, is at least equal to Coleman, so I don't know why they did that. HOF is doing something wrong anyway. They've got JGR stuff, but not performing. They need a crew change, not a driver change.

  11. Yeah, that kinda sucks for Brad, but may help him and HOF in the long run.  With an experienced driver like Schrader, and a Gibbs driver like Logano, HOF may just be able to get that #96 back up to snuff for the long run... they can get the equipment up to the same standards as JGR (because they wouldn't want Logano in less), and they could also make a decent run at getting the #96 back into the top 35.  So yeah, in the short term, it sucks for Brad, but, it may be just the shot in the arm HOF needs in 2009.

  12. Coleman's getting the short end of the stick since HOF Racing isn't the best team in the Cup series.

  13. Well is it just for this year.   Just to try and get him to the top 35. Or is it going to be all the time.   If that is the case.   Than that is totally wrong.

  14. No that doesn't sound like a good deal for Brad.  Even though he is not one of my favourite drivers, no driver should be taken advantage of like that.
