Personally I think they should have both (He Kexin and Nastia Liukin) been given the Gold Medal instead of dropping Liukin to silver cuz of a way indepth number crunch.. same overall score should "RESULT" in a tie.. completely unfair to Nastia!

  1. I hate the tiebreaker - they are both amazing to have gotten to the olympics - i think they should have both gotten a gold medal but at least nastia won all around!

  2. totally unfair, seeing her made my sad.

she deserved it, but what can we do about it.

  3. yeah, its pretty unfair. She missed by ONE POINT ! but oh well, its olympic were talking about, the rules are very strict.

  4. she should have gotten the gold

  5. Personally i think the USA women's gymnastics has been getting cheated all competition long. Nast deserved a better score and the tiebreaker process wasn't the best. But it's the same in every sport. I personally have played sports my entire life and still am. I know that judges, referees, umpires...etc. can all make a mistake but as long as you give it your best then it is completely out of your hands. Nast did give it her best and has nothing to worry about with silver. She got gold in all-around and the main thing is she is there and doing great representing the red, white, and blue. I hope she keeps it up. GO NAST!

  6. I feel she and Shawn both deserved gold, even though they both can't get gold.

  7. I think she deserved gold.

  8. It's just like how Micheal Phelps won the last gold at a astonishing 1/100ths of a second.

Nastia Liukin lost 1/10th of a point. It's how the scoring system works. Do you call .999999999=1? No, .99999999 ls less that one. No matter what.

If it was the opposite, the country China would be outraged just as much as the U.S are outraged.

Yeah i think both He Kexin and Nastia Liukin should have had gold.

  9. I think they both did a fantastic job and should of tied for gold. I hate that BS tiebreaker rule.

  10. Two golds should have been given as they do in other sports at the Olympics when there is a tie .

Gymnastics is the only exception in how they break ties under the new system.  It is ridiculous.  They at least should have left it a tie after the second check of scores rather than going even further to break the tie.  How this was done is explained here

  11. I TOTTALY AGREE I ASKED THE SAME QUESTION

see in other sports the will give two gold but not for GYMNASTICS

    - I TTLY AGREE WITH YOU :)

  12. I think that they both deserved a Gold medal, but I'm not really sure as who truly did better.

We all have our own opinions on who's performance was better but as for the people saying that nastia did WAYYY better, i think you're just being biased. Kexin had 1 more error than nastia did but nastia committed a more serious error.

Their styles are also very different with nastia's being more aesthetic and kexin being like a small fireball. all in all i believe they were quite on par with each other....its only a bias remark to say that one of them did WAYYYY better than the other.

  13. Who think that Atlanta 1996, American Devers robbed Jamican Ottey of Women 100m Gold even both tie 10.94s?

Who think that Athens 2004, American Paul Hamm robbed Koreans Kim Dae-eun and Yang Tae-young of Men Gymnastics Men All-Round Gold due to wrong marking?

  14. Yes

I can´t believe they just bring up that rule, its like it was fixed that sucks

  15. He Kexin made gross errors compared to Nastia.  Gymnastics . . . after this type of judging is now a waste of time in my opinion.  I'm done with it in this and the next Olympics.

  16. Shawn Johnson was ROBBED of 3 gold medals. Yet she still shows class.

  17. Nobody that matters thinks that Nasty should have the Gold Medal.  The only people that matter have made their decision.  Gymnastics is a subjective sport so my guess is that the world class level competitors at the Olympics are used to the quirks, ups, and downs of judging.  They probably get over it pretty quickly.  Follow their example.

  18. I completely agree. I love Nastia and my heart is breaking for her. She did so much better, it was obvious.

  19. I know i do. Her performance was way better and she at least deserved a share of the gold and not the silver due to some silly old rule.

  20. nastias routine was better.  nastia had a cleaner landing.  and he kexin is like 13 anyway.

  21. I think they both should have gotten the gold.  The judging during this olympics game was completly random, and unfair at times.  However, in the end Nastia ended up the one gold that matters... the womens all around.

  22. Nastia was defintly robbed. First of all nastia was better and deserved gold if not an individual then they should have given two gold medals. And also thruout the entire competition america and china have made similar mistakes and they take off the maxium amount of points off for America and the least for china. Besides both of the Chinese girls who placed have been reported to be underage. I dont care what anyone else say the gymnastic judges are anti American

  23. They totally should've just both gotten gold!  I know it's not allowed, but they totally tied!!!!  This is just ridiculous.

    THIS PISSES ME OFF! >.<

  24. Nastia's routine was flawless, except for the minor minor leg separation during her transition to the low bar. compared to He, i think Nastia's routine was so much more flowing and consistent, unlike He, who, during her transition back up to the high bar was sticky, and she was always very stiff and the whole thing just looked like a silver medal routine. I think the tie breaker is ridiculous and robs champions like Nastia of the gold they deserve.

  25. I have answered about 100000000 questions on the same thing already but thanks for the points

  26. Agreed.

  27. Nastia's performance on the uneven bars was definitely much better and she didn't have an ugly landing. But judging has been bad in the olympics not only in gymnastics area.

  28. I agree. I am a big fan of Kexin, but this didn't seem fair to me.

  29. as much as i don't like the americans i do sincerely think that nastia should have gotten gold and because of the controversy with he kexin being only 14 and you must be 16 to be in the gymnastics in the olympics she just might get it by default

  30. She definatly deserved it. She had less mistakes and she was just better. I do not understand why the Chinese are getting great scores when they are s******g up more. This isn't fair at all!

  31. Yes, poor girl, seriously my head hurtz from all this corruption this year, i just want the gamez to be over with, i cant believe im saying it, but i just want them to be over
