Who thinks Rafa has a good chance against Fed at Wimbledon this year?

Srry, tennis is the best, I won't forget Novak, since he is my favorite. I want to see Novak in the final. I just don't want to fuss so much about Nole, cuz then ppl think i'm crazy, like RafaGirl

Rafa will win wimbledon too. Nadal didnot win French ,he crushed Fed. Fed is # 1 for long time, a # 1 player is crushed this way. He should retire now instead of getting more himulation

Djokovic is being heavily underestimated, he retired against Nadal in the second set last year, so Nadal got an easy pass.

Depending on the draw, if Djokovic gets Nadal in the semifinals he will win and it will be Federer vs. Djokovic.

If Federer gets Djokovic in the semifinal, he could lose, but if Roger wins he'll be better tested and will beat whoever his opponent in the final is.

We've seen Federer lose the Aussie and French and win Wimbledon, 3 years ago, it may very well happen again, but Rafa is a longshot really.

Yes, Rafa has a great chance, after all he took Federer to a 5th set last year, and this year he has to be playing with a lot more confidence after today's win.  Plus, Federer is not as invincible as he was in the past, not even going into Wimbledon, although he still would have to be considered the favorite.

Rafa should win if he makes it to the finals. However getting there is the hard part. Soderling nearly took him out last year in 5 sets. Youzhny was also up by 2 sets in 2007 (or may be 2006) and Nole took the first set off him last year. So, his biggest challenge is getting to the finals and especially if he meets Nole in the semi's.

Rafa has a much better chance this year than last as he is more mature, playing the best tennis ever for him, and has Borg's endorsement.

Now as for Roger. He didn't play poorly today but didn't play as well as Rafa and Luck was certainly on Rafa's side. Playing on grass and beating Borg's record of 5 Wimbys despite Borg's attempt to jinx Roger will be sweet. Roger can do it and I hope does do it. Luck might be on his side next time.  Watching last years Final made me remember just how good Roger is on grass when he needs to be. Pulling out aces like the 3 he served in two service game. 24 plus in total is much better than the what 2 he served today? He was broken way too much today but then that was more attributable to Rafa playing great than Roger playing badly.

Rafa will take over as number 1 soon enough and keep that position for a long time. Sorry Novak fans but no way is your boy gonna beat Rafa the way he is playing now. Being 2 years younger than Rafa isn't good enough Rafa if he can stay healthy and injury free has a great future.

I think he has a good chance but you just can't count the FIVE time champ Federer out. I really would like to see a crazy match between the two again but, I hope Roger wins once more!!!

Rafa has pushed Federer further on grass than Federer has pushed Rafa on clay. I predict Rafa will defeat Federer at this year's Wimbledon. I'm saying this as a Federer fan who is realistic, and who can see the writing on the wall.

I think Rafa has a great chance to win Wimbledon this year. If he can keep up the form he`s in just now there`s no reason why he cant. He`s been extremely close at wimby now for the past 2 years making the final. Last year against Roger has been the closest any guy has been to beating Fed on grass a 5setter match just wow, Rafa should have won that day just a few points seperated them that day !!! However this year Rafa is an even better player his backhand/forehand, slice and even at the net have improved tremendously if he can stay injury free he can take that wimby title. He completely dominated Roger on that court today he deserved to win the french this year he has just played awesome tennis and may it continue.

i believe he will. Last year, he put up his best fight, and this year was by far his most dominant performance at the French Open, and Federer's no that hot this year. Plus Bjorn Borg thinks Nadal will win, so...

I think that if Rafa makes it to the final fully fit, he'll win. Remember, he was a break up in the 5th set last year but he lost cos he was just too nervous. This year he's much more mature so he'll win if he makes the final.
