This guy can hit winners from anywhere on the court :)! His forehand and backhand are incredible and the passing shots he comes up with are breath taking. Nadal has also improved at the net, his volleys are pretty decent and his drop shots too. Im glad to see him playing up the court more, i just find him fascinating to see how he adapts his game, he is always constantly improving and looking to improve, i say he needs more cheap points on his serve, more aces!!!!! what do you guys think about his game ?

  1. Reread my answer man, I didn't mean what you thought I meant.

People would have to be blind to think Nadal isnt a shotmaker. His wide angled backhand is second to none. Its scary, people are silly to try and go there. Scary shot no.2 is his passing shots. I also think all the people that think the way to beat Rafa is to go to net - ahh suicide unless you have a great approach shot. Bring him to net isn't so silly. Scary shot no.3 anything on the run. Anything.

Nadals serve has improved dramatically, its a weapon now. He may not get as many aces but he gets enouugh forced errors off it to make him very hard to break. Its prob a weakness only if you put him against a very good returner say Djokovic or Murray. Bur Murray isnt a shotmaker so I dont think he will ever beat Nadal. Ever.

Its not a weakness against Fed cos Fed hasnt got a great return.

  2. he can play some unbelievable shots

  3. Yeah he makes some amazing shots and gets nearly every ball back hehe !

It must be so frustrating for other players to play against Rafa cause no matter where they place the ball, Rafa gets it back haha ! :-P

He is amazing in every way lol :)

Some of the winners he hits are phenomenal lol

    Vamos Rafa! xx

  4. his game is great, hes my fav. tennis player and hes always fitted about his game he needs to get more aces like federer then i think he will be untouchable, Go Rafa

  5. ooohh, me thinks rafa is getting scarier by the minute, well, for the players anyway...LOL

awesome shots!!! even the serve has greatly improved... by the time he has honed this new weapon like crazy, he would really start dominating the game, even more than he has this past few months!

    scary proposition isnt it?

    VAMOS!!!

  6. i do not know that much about tennis but he is good!

  7. I think he is one of the best shot makers in the game. He has 1 week of rest before the US Open once the Olympics is over. He has the killer instinct. He won't back down to any point no matter if he looks out of it on some points. I think Rafa needs to do more aces to get some more cheap points. I wonder who you will give best answer to your other question that just have 2 answers lol

  8. He's amazing and getting better with every swing of his raquet.  Lleyton tried all different kinds of tactics today and NOTHING worked.  Even serve and volley, Rafa would hit one passing shot after another.  He is the absolute best ON THE RUN!!!  Those shots are breathtaking...

I wish him the best of luck and the US Open.  I think he has a fantastic chance to take this one too.

BTW you know the Olympic venue for tennis constructed it to match identical to the courts in NY.

Great idea!!  Warm ups at the Olympics for another Grand Slam!

Yep, I truly believe the US Open this year will be another match between Federer and Rafa......and unfortunately for Federer, Rafa is on a roll.  He took Andreev to the cleaners.  His angles are incredible and I know he is the BEST ON THE RUN, he can put it anywhere.  Truly a new level of tennis given to us by Rafa and Federer.  I love their rivalry it makes them that much better because they have each other.  Truly.........

  9. he basically controls the whole court, his unbelievable

  10. I do blf it...........

  11. I agree; the only thing I can think of is % of first serves being in.

Watched him play both  Hewitt & Djocovic, and that was the only thing that let him down on occasions.

Court coverage is fantastic , awesome forehand, just stay injury free & win the US Open after the Olympic Gold.
