Who thinks The Undertaker might've used his backstage power to get Cherry fired because she was startin to outshine michelle? Cherry and maryse would have been the most entertaining feud for the belt easily. cherrys a lot more likeable then michelle and her and maryse played off each other great.

No because undertaker has respect for many people and doesn't abuse his backstage power. Plus I heard they let Cherry go cause wwe didn't like the fact that she wasn't skinny like the rest of the divas. I personally felt that she look very pretty the way she was.

Undertaker has no problems with anyone backstage outside possibly HHH and HBK. Many wrestlers, if not all, say The Undertaker is like the father figure, and everyone respects his presence because he'll help them, regardless of how good or bad their wrestling is.

Michelle McCool was going to get pushed regardless of her relationship with The Undertaker. WWE's held on to her for years, and in most of her appearances, she has been shown to be a Diva with potential to be a champion. Personally, I don't understand why Cherry was fired, either, but it wasn't due to politics.

Just because someone might have some stroke backstage, it doesn't mean a whole lot unless your name is Levesque or McMahon. I'm sure the veterans know who are the best talents. And, I'm sure these factors would also be considered. Remember, also, that this is a corporation. There is a board of directors and all kinds of other bodies of authority making decisions within the WWE. Sometimes, talent gets released because it is no longer feasible to keep them around.

In Cherry's case, she is talented. She apparently didn't have the "it" factor.
