I was born in Vietnam , But am very americanise , I love Vietnam and its culture, everyone is  Such Hardworking people, husbands are faithful and are hard working men who support their family, women are balance in their moral ethics, their very  femine but also hard workers.

    the country side is amazing the markets,are crowded with people, smells of traditional vietnamese food, laughter and happiness surrounding every corner.

                    Vietnam in other word is Paradise.

i have never been there but i heard my parents talking about it saying that Da Lat is almost another PARIS. But some of the other sites mostly have flowers and tyhey are pretty opther than that they dont go back

Because it is ... at least many destinations/locations there are beautiful.

My favorite is driving in the mountains west of Hanoi in late February when the newly-planted rice in the paddies make the valleys wonderfully green.

VIETNAM is a beautiful country,VIETNAM is locate in southeast asia and on the west side is a cool mountain and on the east is a long strip of pacific ocean and miles of white sand and crystal water,there are many great place to visit as HALONG BAY,NHA TRANG BAY,CA NA BAY,CAM RANH BAY,HAI PHONG PORT,HA NOI CAPITAL,DA LAT,SAIGON(the central business,biggest city of VIETNAM and got about 7 millions people,in the south is CAN THO CITY,HA TIEN BAY,VUNG TAU BAY etc etc,the culture of VIETNAM got their traditional style,foods and fashion,the people are very nice and noble,humble and friendly but also influence of CHINA because chinese was there for over 1000 years and thanks GOD they did not change VIETNAM much of all,then the JAPANESE then FRENCH and finally AMERICAN so you could see a lot of influence in VIETNAM cities,like in the north is CHINESE,JAPANESE,FRENCH and even RUSSIAN,and in the south there is CHINESE but most you will see AMERICAN and until this day the VIET people still think about U.S.A and only U.S.A is the best,so i think VIETNAM is a beautiful country but just need to develope and more open and upgrade better so tourist could travel to visit VIETNAM more than right now thought,VIETNAM use tobe one of the best in southeast asia but because the wars and communist goverment control and destroy the beauty of pearl of oriental for so long and a lot of great VIET people left the country because they want FREEDOM,BETETR LIFE(economic) and the younger gerenation could change the image of VIETNAM someday thought!

This is an easy one.   The country is absolutely beautiful.  With miles of white sand beaches, cool mountain hideaways, Great city night life and cozy country inns. Amazing tropical lagoons and river frontages with fishing nets draped artfully over boats of every size, shape and color.  There are whole streets of Old Style buildings that make you feel like you have gone back in time.  And yet, The most modern hotels are availabe.  I disagree that the Cities are filthy.  Their street sweeping system is just different. Garbage is put in the streets but it is cleaned up every night.  Probably one of the better street cleaining systems in the world. The markets are just stunning. With every color, sound and smell that you can imagine.    And the great thing about Vietnam is that it's not as crowded as most of S.E. Asia and it’s very inexpensive. You can get nice hotel rooms for $10 and beer at 15 cents a glass. The people are wonderful.  Lots to do and plenty to see. Check it out.

You will never regret it if you come to Vietnam. . Great food to! Remember that the French were here for years so there is wonderful bread and coffee and French style restaurants in most towns.

We stopped our bikes at the end of the road by the river the other day. Out in the middle of no where. In minutes we were surrounded by kids saying "hello, Where you from?" the mothers came out a few minutes later and they are bringing out food and laughing. A few minutes later the men came out bringing the rice wine. We had a full on party going and although we didn't understand much of what was happening .... we knew that they were really friendly and they treated us like Rock Stars. Just amazing. Don't miss Vietnam. It will be your best trip ever. I promise.

I've been to Vietnam, in HCM particularly. What I observed is that i look more like them than most of my fellow filipinos. the place is uniquely beautiful. their culture is amazing.  the people are friendly.

some parts r beatiful and clean, but the cities r dirty. the rivers are dirty p**p brown, theres garabage in the cities street, Most ppl r friendly, some jus want to scam u.
