If you are wanting Yahoo to sponsor such a thing then you might want to buy up a bunch of their stock or find a bigger mutual fund manager, hedge fund manager or some Yahoo shareholder activist that would bring this to management.  Other than that, unfortunately Yahoo probably won't care.

It would be a good idea for sure, I live in the Amazons and environmental degradation here is increasing. Something has to be made, if not by the policies, will be same as for private initiatives

No one is required to sponsor anything.  What you feel is a major issue may not be for others...Theirs might be sponsoring the starving children we have right here in our own country, Or donating to help the homeless and elderly.  

I am sure they do donate money to charities as they get a right off at the end of the year most major companies do this.

The question should really be is it any of your business what charity others donate their money to?
