Who thinks american reality shows over do it?

I definitly think they over do it. Now everything you watch on tv is a reality show.

I think these shows are a bit crazy at times, yes. The more c**p that happens though, the more I think they are scripted. I am sure millions of people try to sign up for Big Brother, for example. Yet, look who they have as contestants. For example, "Evel d**k".. He hob nobs (if thats the right saying, lol) with music stars and apparently a few actors. Or.. Will from seasons past ... he's a doctor? Why would they put someone who makes a lot of money on a show to compete to win a large amount of money? Why did HE win his season? It's gotta be scripted, the shows gotta be entertaining so people will watch.

*Looks down to the girl that said, "Americans overdo everything". Ya know, not EVERY American "overdoes everything". Would it be fair to sit here and say "(all) Australians are behind the times"? (for example) or, "(all) Italians have a temper?". No, it's inappropriate and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Americans don't do "reality" in anything.

They do "performance TV" on their reality shows, and that's it.  Like children.

I saw their BB on E4 and there was all this dramatic music in the background. Same with soaps like general hospital. Talk about bad acting. It's so bad it puts Eastenders to shame....and eastenders is bad.
