Who thinks coach of bombers Mat Knight is doing well?

There's bound to be a few hiccups when a new coach arrives, and so far he seems to be dealing with them a lot better than, for example, the coach of fremantle.

The players themselves at Essendon seem happy with him, which is a real plus, especially since so many of them were reluctant to lose Sheedy.

The time to evaluate Knights is probably about half way through NEXT season when he's had a chance to strut his stuff.

Knights has certainly implemented a fair different game to essendon

the run and carry game we have heard so much about, and its relation to the soft tissue injuries

i think it is fair to say essendon was in need of a fresh face, sheeds was a ledgend, but they needed a different style game to stay in the leaders.

The soft tissue injuries are because of firstly the game style - essendon is just creating and running a lot harder longer with shorter bench breaks

also the playing surface, the telsta dome is in the spotlight after it was revealed that the top 3 teams with the most soft tissue injuries train and play at the dome.

Also we can suspect the fitness coach. but lets not be too hard on him

but to answer your questoin :)    yes knights is doing well and i think can do great things with the mighty bombers this year

Yeah, he's doing a good job. Loosing Lucas, Lloyd and now McVeigh and Longernan hasn't helped his start to coaching. I'm sure he's happy to get Lloyd back this week. He will be a good coach, and i wish him luck ............... but not too much

Yes, so far he's doing fairly good. One of my questions is as to why a lot of his players are going down with hamstring injuries and the like.

His name is actually Matty Knights, but any way, as i said when he was appointed, give the bloke a go and he will surprise all bomber and footy fans, they carried on like it was the end of the world, but he is doing quite well, too early to say how they will go, haven't really played and beaten anyone yet, north, but no one else.

he will do well, young coach, knows his stuff, go knighta.

He is struggling because he doesn't have the cattle. It will be a very long season for him and the bombers

Yep, I like seein fresh approaches at Essendon.. Sheedy is a legend but I think Knights is just what the doctor ordered!
