The price of gas has been rising every year.  Sure it goes up and down but the overall trend is that of upward gas prices.  It's only a matter of time before $4 gas is a reality...and then $5...and $6...

I think it absolutely will, unfortunately.  I don't expect a change in anything till we hit rock bottum and are in a major crisis.  I feel really unsafe with everything being so unstable around me.  It's scary times we're living in now.

The price of gasoline like everything else will keep rising. It's a matter of time, possibly in our generation we will see gas prices rise up to $5 or $6 dollars a gallon.

Gas prices aren't changing, the value of the dollar is going down, so it takes more dollars to buy the same thing.  If the value of the dollar stabilizes, prices will stop rising so sharply (although rices will always rise - that's how a free economy works), but if the dollar keeps dropping in value we'll have to pay more of them to buy things.

Unfortunately it's only prices that are keeping pace with the value of the dollar - wages aren't.  Just look at how much value the dollar has lost since 11/1/2000.

I am sure in some places it will be higher then that. I live in Northern Nevada and i fully expect that by the time summer hits here gas will be over $4 a gallon. We always get hit hard.

By the Forth of July, son.  And five bucks a gallon by the following July...hey, diesel is already over four bucks a gallon around the country.  Haven't you noticed your grocery bill has gone up a good chunk lately?

well my dad is currently in california on a contract, and it already is $4.00 per gallon there, but here in minnesota it is $3.00 a gallon, this is what happens when you go and offer the arabians a whole bunch of paper money while creating inflation

well in england the price is 4.00 pounds per gallon and that is $9.00, so consider your self lucky that you dont have prices like that

I do, I live in ID and even though we get a lower octane than most of the country (81) we still pay almost $3.20 a gallon and it keeps going up.
