what is es ? if that means electric start then they already have it but only on some ktm's

If you are referring to to ES as electric start than most new Offroad/Enduro Bikes have it. You can find the on most the KTM EXC line, Honda CR450X & CR250X, Yamaha YZ450F & YZ250F

You know, as many times as I've seen a rider lose a bunch of positions trying to get their bike started you would think they would consider it. I know the 450SX has it but it seems the weight trade off, even on a 250F, would be a good idea rather than losing 10 positions trying to kick the bike over.

they already have it on the KTM race bikes, and they offer it on the Yamaha WR line and the Honda CRFX line.

Suzuki has EFI, and  all the other brands are testing with efi as well.......
