He is getting a little old now..but I hope he makes a comeback and smashes Evans. I mean everyone has to lose sometimes. It seems like the UFC is hard on fighters that lose.

  1. Everybody loses who fights for any amount of time and takes on real fights. Chuck will be back no  question about it. I think Evans is going to a pretty good fight for him. I think he will take it, but make no mistake that Evans is a dangerous opponent. I think Chuck needs to do what he always does, stuff the take downs and then blast away. Rashad has pretty good movement and will most likely try to work angle against Chuck to allow him to get the take down. Once there though we have seen over and over again that Chuck is incredibly hard to keep down. In my book it will be a good fight, but in the end Chuck should be able to take care of business.

  2. he will destroy evans but he'll never beat rampage and i dont thibk he could beat griffin either. he should retire after his next lose

  3. I hope he comes back.  The fight with Evans is handpicked for him to win. Evans has to come foward to be effective. Liddell has had great success against wrestlers. As superb a wrestler as Rashad is, he does not have the skill necessasary to take Chuck down, and lay on him, which is his favored tactic. Chuck will KO or TKO him in the first round, and Dana will feed the poster boy (Forrest Griffin) to his best pal, Chuck.

  4. Who said he needed to make a comeback?  If he is needing to make a comeback, then I definitely hope he does.  He is one of the best.  He is dangerous.

  5. Liddell barely lost to Jardine and then beat Wanderlei.  I would think he is back.  Chuck will need to have his takedown defense in high gear against Rashad.  I would expect them both to keep it standing and brawl.

Yeah, the UFC is hard on fighters that lose, but considering Liddell is a top draw and doesn't complain about management, they will keep him around for as long as he wants to fight.

  6. he's done, he's older and it's showing.  his lack on keeping his hands up and sticking his chin out has been catching up to him.  he had his run.  he would have to hand pick his fights carefully and definately go a griffith  if he wants he belt cuz he's about the only one he could beat for it.

  7. The ICEMAN is one of my favorite fighters.  I think he will come into this fight with Evans looking for a knockout and stuffing the takedowns - I think Evans and Jardine are training partners, so I would expect Rashad will be looking for those leg kicks.

I do have to disagree with CM77 - handpicked opponent for Chuck to beat???  This is MMA where anything can happen, Evans has worked his way up the ladder to go against on of the top Light Heavyweights in the UFC.  Do you think Griffin was selected for Shogun or Gonzaga was selected for Cro Cop to walk thru - it didn't happen.  A fight is a fight.

    Let's go Chuck!!

  8. i hope evans puts him back on the losing streak. sereiously, i don't see why so many people are in love with chuck.
