that's the first i've heard that.  If that's true, could you please supply a link to more info?  I think it is not a good idea.  you could potentially radiate all the nutrients from the most nutritious food on earth.

It won't hurt the food I don't think.  I mean we'd be dead already cuz they've been using radiation in spices for a really long time now.  There have been tons of studies done showing the practice to be perfectly safe and effective.  I do wonder what they will do with the by-products from the radiation though.
