Who thinks naruto shippuden is not as good as the original naruto?

Both were good, but the pre-time skip was a little slow and repetitive at times. When the time skip happens, things get much more interesting. The story gets more serious, the characters become more 3-dimensional, and the antagonists get even meaner!

My favorite thing about the time skip is the development of the Akatsuki. They are the basic story in the time skip. It's kind of cool. All the new characters are awesome! Personally, Hidan is my favorite and you'll see why. The characters are just so good!

Further along, though, it gets a bit slow. It lags big time. In the manga, there were about nine chapters of a fight scene and they were talking most of the time. I can't imagine what it will be like in the anime...

I'm kind of 50/50 on it. After a certain point, I got bored with it because it dragged on so long, which made me no longer a fan of Naruto. It just gets boring, you know? Sad...

I think both series were pretty good. I really don't like one more then the other really and I think that Shippuden was a good way to start the 2nd series to Naruto. Although the original series was just as good as it built up to Shippuden taking place anyway. Much of the time spent in the original series was besides for Naruto to get stronger,but for him to make friends as well. As well pretty much from the start Naruto really didn't have any and it showed him creating those bonds with others. Also what I like inn both series is that they both still show the past and depth in each person,as if every person has had there own challenges,and all that too is tide together in the anime and manga. I do like though in shippuden that even know that Naruto is kind of the same as he was before,he has matured some what,and seems to be more fcoused on the task at hand. Naruto doesn't really seem to rush into battle before know whats going on like he kind of did before. Not to mention he has become a lot stronger then he was before from Jiraiya's training. Also what I like about Naruto Shippuden is that they do show the Akatsuki more,where before they were kind of unknown and almost feared to fight with,while now they have a bog part in the story. Although I don't really like how all the time Naruto is chasing after Sasuke to try and bring him back home,it kind of takes away from what the rest is going on,but he is also a main part of the story as well,and is a friend to Naruto,which makes Naruto want to become stronger so he can get Sasuke back and bring him home. Even so all that ties back into the story again and comes together.

Sasuke being in team 7 was the whole reason i really watched naruto. so Shippuden is kinda hard for me to watch espeically when i thought they killed off Gaara for good i just raised my hand and was I'm done. killing off teenagers is messed up. but then they fixed that so we are good. but to me shippuded isnt as good. but as a naruto fan i watch it and enjoy it.

i really love them both but sasuke and naruto are my favorite sasuke is so hot but i think tho original naruto is way better than shippuden because naruto learns how to be more mature and he is very funny

well, every character eventually grows. had naruto not gone mature enough, this would be called the 'naruto' shippuuden anymore. he is the leading character of the series. and with enemies like pain and madara coming to get him. naruto winning with kage bunshin alone against these strong individuals wouldn't be fun to watch anymore. what i didn't like about the shippuden so far was the orochimaru series after they have rescued gaara. they prolonged that situation so much that i had gotten bored with it. they've put up so much attention on leaves dropping and winds blowing that made people lose interest in shippuuden at that time. plus, the preview of the sasuke-naruto encounter was way cooler than that of the actual situation itself. i mean, if they were to preview a very cool situation of that, they must certainly meet that standard, even exceed it! but when the actual series was in that situation, i didn't feel that much of an excitement. it just wasn't as cool and as heart pumping as what they had pictured out at the beginning of the shippuuden series.

i love shippuuden way better. because every one gets to find out what naruto really is!!!! and it doesnt have too many filler episodes that does not have to do with the entire story. but i love sasuke when he was still a brat!
