Question:

Who thinks that Abortion and Capital Punishment(death penalty for dumb libs) are the same?

I constantly hear this ridiculous argument whenever a lib tries to argue with someone who doesn't believe in abortion. BUT, libs forget it is a two way street... Why do they believe in abortion, but not the capital punishment? THAT'S the real hypocrisy.

  1. i'm pro life but i support blowing up people in iraq that didn't attack us,i also support dropping nuclear bombs on iraq and iran turning it into a "glass parking lot" did i mention i'm pro life

  2. I've never heard anyone use the "argument" you just brought up.

I do not know anyone that believes what you just posted.

  3. It's simple.

The death penalty is enforced when somebody commits a crime - a capital crime actually (murder...etc).

An abortion...is most usually a consequence of not using proper protection, and then deciding you aren't responsible enough to take care of the baby (yet u were responsible enough to make it...ha..libs)

They are not the same thing.

    - Taking a guilty life that took many lives is much different than killing an innocent baby.

  4. I am against the death penalty and pro choice and here is why.  I believe that if I or any other woman decided to abort I will have to answer to my god for that decision.  But..I want that decision to be mine.  On the other hand.  I don't think that my government should kill anyone.

  5. They are pretty much the same, humans trying to decide if another human should live or die which is wrong, no human should be able to decide if another human dies...isn't that up to god?

  6. I think this is a good question. I am pro-life, and I struggle with the idea of death penalty. However, I do believe there are circumstances where it is appropriate because the people getting the death penalty are making the choice to do something, usually murder, where as a baby has no way to choose or fight for his/her life. Perhaps we should give abortionists the death penalty? (Hmmm...you just gave me an idea.)

*Anyone who doesn't consider an embryo or fetus a baby just isn't educated and probably doesn't want to be on this subject to protect him/herself in stupidity. It's still murder.

  7. Ok I will give it a shot. Libs believe in choice. Example, for me having an abortion is not the same as taking a life. I don't consider embryos human beings. If you do that is your choice.

I think the state does not have the right to take someones life. You might want to ask a different question. Do you consider a fetus/embryo human life?

  8. The real hypocrisy is how Neo-Cons try to turn the argument into being against people who are "pro abortion".  Why can't you bring yourself to say "pro choice"?  Really: is it only by playing semantic games that you can debate?

Can you only support your position by removing any reference to a woman's right to choose?

  9. I support both, because they have legitimate purrposes. In fact, the only countries opposed to abortion are only found in the Middle East or adhere to Islamic law, as you can see in this map in the attached article.

So... abortion is illegal in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, but legal in places like England, Italy and Spain.

Doctors perform abortions for legitimate reasons. Making abortion illegal won't prevent abortions, either. Look at the history of illegal abortions. Leave the choice up to the doctors, because they have the degrees and intelligence that got them their jobs.

  10. I am pro-life, but in favor of the death penalty.  I can see how people may think that they are similar, but I don't think that they are entirely the same.  If you have an abortion, you are killing an unborn child that wasn't given the chance to decide whether or not he/she wants to live.  On-the-other-hand, if someone is getting the death penalty, it is because they CHOSE to commit a serious crime--such as homicide--and deserve to have that done to them.  Babies can't chose, but adults can.

  11. I am for the death penalty and pro-choice.

Doesn't make sense to me either.

  12. Obviously nobody who supports one and opposes the other will, if they are consistent, think they are exactly the same.

I am against the death penalty and for abortion.
