  1. What a scathingly brilliant Idea,  a good one day game of cricket or even 20 20 version is far more exciting than the round ball football, at least you never get nill all draws. And it is a great spectator sport, so there definitely will be a great profit for the organisers. and definitely the skill level of many nations is such that we Aussies are not necessarily a "shoo in" for the gold medal .

  2. Cricket is not a tough enough game to be added to the Olympics. Picture it in your mind: hundreds competing for the "fastest swimmer in the world", "the greatest gymnist" etc. Those things you have to practice and train for for years. Those things take tremendous effort. Therefore, cricket, should not and will never be included in the World Wide Olympics. Do you also understand that swimming, volleyball, basketball etc. are played in nearly all countries; but cricket is only played in a few. How will China ever survive the game?

  3. Nah cricket is boring, it's up there with Baseball!! & golf.

  4. Why not. it would give the Aussies more medal chances- as well as India who don't feature much as all they seem to care about in sports is cricket. Seems to be more popular worldwide than some of the sports that are currently in the Olympics.

  5. Well if BMX (or whatever it was) is a sport...

then yeah, cricket should be a sport too.

  6. Yes it should and so should Lacrosse.
