  1. Perhaps his parents or siblings have despoiled the family name and he isn't in a hurry to have people make the connection.

  2. I doubt it. "Mather" is not a common Mexican name.

  3. According to Wikipedia, he was born in 1948 in Virginia, went to High school at Newton High School, New Jersey.  I think theres enough of a paper trail to conclude that he is human :)

Some scientists don't talk much about there roots, but you can easily research his family.  Just doing a people search for Mather in Roanoke Virginia came up with a number of matches - I bet he's related to each and every one.

  4. No, he isn't.  However, I have a theory that Fred Phelps is some kind of alien from some hostile, backward planet.

  5. He is human.

Not knowing where he comes from is not the same as KNOWING he does NOT come from Earth.

And is it reasonable to assume that any life form from another planet would be so different from a human that you could easily tell the difference. The idea that space is filled with planets populated by aliens who look just like humans is just science fiction. And bad science fiction at that, where they don't have enough money for the makeup or special effects to make the aliens look really alien. Kind of like how the aliens all speak English. Except in the German science fiction movies I bet they speak German!

  6. i know he is not an alien. bcuz i am, and can always tell who is an alien and who isn't. we call it aliendar.
