I definitely think he has the talent and the mental strength to be up there with the best. You can see his confidence and his ability in the way that he plays, and he definitely will dominate the game very soon.

nole has a great chance of doing so. it seems almost inevitable. I think he has a pretty good all-around game. He is a little too cocky though. But he has great potential and will definitely make it if he uses this potential right and not get distracted, or worst, burn out. i'm not saying he's going to be the next king of tennis but again pretty good chance of being no. 1.

I know he can be number one. He has proved today that he is an incredible player and that he is great on all surfaces. I am so proud of him, he is such a great player.

Hope not, he is just way too cocky.  I hope Nadal will be the next before he would be.  So, I think he has a potential and quality to be, but I HOPE not.

The way he's going, there's little doubt he'll be world #1. The only question is whether he can do it this year or not. Hopefully he can keep his great form going into wimby and the hard court season where he can garner a lot of points.

All that being said it would nice if Rafa could take world #1 if even for a very short time. I think since he's been world #2 for such a long time he does deserve that spot even if it's for a short time.

It's just a matter of time.  I think by the end of the year he should be the #1 player in the world.  He stands to earn a huge amount of points if he wins or even just reaches the final of the year-end Masters Cup, because last year he earned zero points in that event.  The points he will earn there should put him over the top, provided of course he continues to have a strong season for the rest of the year.

I defidently thing he can! Especially after todays win against Wawrinka. Hes only 310 points under Nadal, that really isnt that far. If he wins the next clay court tournament he'll pass him and be racing toward Federer who will be his next victim!
