  1. I hate these cinderella story sports tales.

I hope that the Rays win the Division, but then get swepped in the division series.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

  2. aw another  Yankees and Red Sox suck question, well apparently you don't nothing about baseball

  3. Rays are good but until they actually win a World Series title like both the Red Sox & Yankees have done, you can't say diddley squat & you can't say anthing either until they actually win a division title, guess what, they haven't done that either. I think you are getting just a little ahead of yourself trash talking the Yankees & Red Sox.

  4. umm all i have to say is where were you 1-2 or even 3 years ago?

  5. No, we all live in a RED SOX NATION.

  6. what are ya, a soccer fan. their 15 is done, your talkin about the 2 most storied franchises in MLB. they'll start selling off parts in the next few years. Longoria would look sweet in a SOX jersey. thanks

  7. All three teams are good.  I am a Red Sox fan, and I am happy that the Rays are finally breaking through and becoming a contender in the East.  The Yanks do suck, but that is just my prejudice talking, yes they are still a good team.  All three teams are top teams in the league and they all have legitimate shots at a World Series championship, this october is going to be very interesting.

  8. I agree with YFFL RIP Bobby Murcer, [aka Janet

  9. For the past few years it seems like it's been a given that the Yankees and Red Sox would both make the playoffs and there has been no real drama in the AL East until the playoffs. The Rays success this year has changed all that, and as a baseball fan, I'm eternally grateful.

But until the Rays build up as much tradition and history as the Red Sox and Yankees they are going to be little brother nobody gives any respect.

I don't like the Yankees but I have loads of respect for their history, tradition and the ridiculous amount of success they have had. I do like the Red Sox, I also love their history and the success they've had in the last few years. Right now, the Sox are World Series champions...and until somebody dethrones them, they are the kings.

The Rays unfortunately have been a useless franchise since their inception. But, it really looks like they've turned things around this year (although I'm watching the Mariners do their usual to Matt Garza right now). I wish the Rays all the best in the future, and I really hope they actually get a real ball park to play in someday.

  10. Where were you last year when the red sox won the uhmmm. world series i believe it was? oh yeah, that was it.  Don't forget '04 too. Sure, the rays have a few good rookies up there this year but the sox aren't too far behind.  I believe the red sox WILL catch up, however i'm not sure about the yankees because of all the injuries and just the team this year is not as great.  Don't get your hopes up. Rays won't win it all anyways. If anyone it'll be the LA angels for the AL.

  11. 10 points for the asker!!!!!

  12. Well, the Yanks have like 26 world series championships and the Sox have probably been the best team over the last five season. This season, though, I would at least agree that the Rays are much better than the Yanks.

As for Boston and Tampa, we'll see what happens in the last month or so and maybe even into the playoffs!

  13. I hate the Yankees (#1) and I hate the Boston Red Sox (#2), after that (Braves, Philadelphia).........

My favorite team now that the Expos left Montreal are the Blue Jays.....

But, yes, I think that the Yankees suck big time this year and were not able to buy there way into the world series.  Boston does not suck this year, in fact I think they are a strong contender to take the top from Tampa (though I hope Tampa holds on..........)

It's really good to see how a team that finished last for the past 5 or 6 years with the worst records in baseball can come out on top and hold on in the best division in baseball!

    Go rays!!!!!!

  14. The Yankees are injury Prone thats why they are not performing well.
