no i think it would be pretty good, the british governemnt already put down 10 million pounds for the games (even though thats half as much as the chinese and considering the cheap labor cost of china...)

every country's olympics will have it's own flavor, as long as they got the spirit,(and maybe some lights, stadiums, and exciting athletes) i think it will be pretty good.

china has a magnificant history,a nd thay showed it off magnificently

and i dnt think there will be that many performers WHO ALL VOLUNTEERED

china had its chance to show how strong and powerful its grown and i think its done that

london,...i watched the bit about it in the closing cerymony and i was about to turn off the tv

oo lala beckam kicking a ball and leona lewis growing taller and taller........i dnt think so...... it will be nothing compared to the london olympics

i dont think anyone can do better than the chinese! but london should show their own culture because its extremely difficult to beat the chinese show!

I believe London will put on a heck of a show after seeing what the Chinese did.  They don't want people saying Beijing put on a better show.

Beijing olympics might be grandeur, but I think London is going to be warmer and more fun.

After all, it's what olympics suppose to be right? It's about maintaining friendship between countries, and not about showcasing wealth when there are people in China who would probably be better off with that money.

China put on a Fantastic ceremony, nobody can deny that. It was perfect.  But I think the Brits are going to do just fine.

London will do a fantastic job, especially if they use star power instead of slave power like the Chinese.  Leona Lewis set the example.  How many Chinese stars performed . . . none.  China allowed zero political protests, forcibly relocated families and threatened performers with labor camps.  Don't compare goons who use violence with the beautiful freedom the brits have.

well to b honest the beijing olympics were in fact amazing and has set a new level for other host countries to do better. the london games will be struggling with ideas for their olympics but overall it will be special in its own way.

Yes indeed China didnt have any stars out for 1.because not many people would noe them 2. they proved u dont need to have world known stars to have a good olympics. Really if you noe nothing please dont talk abt it because putting down another country wont make urs any better.

They will probably be better then this years Olympics - the judging was so rigged it's not even funny. The chinese have never been big medal contenders before - they rigged it.
