  1. Weren't the Crusades a 'task from God' too? She's insane.

  2. Everything and Anything is a Task From God.

It is however, our choice to see how we follow through with his plans.

And personally, I like the way it has been handled so far.

  3. You have to be kidding me, right?

Task from God? This is suppose to be the next Vice-President?

That just shows the ignorance of republican followers. What kind of evidence does she think she possess to even spark a thought that the United States has been given a divine task. Does she honestly want us to believe that an invisible man upstairs has given President Bush ( out of all people) the task of reconstructing Iraq?

Let us first pretend that we all agree that a "God" does exist. Let us pretend that this God, just so happens to be a Christian God. Certainly, the killing of God's people wouldn't sit well with him. The fforcingof western views on people who's society has been around for thousand of years before ours, is wrong.

And if this is God's task, why in the world would he pick the United States?

This is exactly why humans have been getting away with evil doings since the beginning of time. They take their own personal plan, sugar-coat it with some religious c**p, and now, they have more and more followers because nobody would ever go against the will of God.

Thank you Spanish Inquisition, thank you Holocaust, thank you witch trials... oh wait lets add, thank you Iraq war.

  4. Only the loonies of the right-wing fanatics.  They are as dangerous as al Queda is.

  5. Life itself is a gift from God. That is why it is called "the present"

God tests us to help strengthen us, unless of course, we fail the test.

  6. task from god? bullshit .. try this "task from oil companies".

those neo's put billions own packages because iraq, many innocent dies, more voundet but they don't care.

.. yes there is "task" still around it. but not from GOD's himself. try Warlord Mr.Cheney A.K.A Darth Vader  http://www.amazon.com/Blackwater-Rise-Wo...

  7. The war on terror is, in a way, a task from God, which is an ongoing battle. As long as humanity exists, so shall sin, as well as terrorism, which is derived from sin. You can kill an entire army, but an idea can never be killed. The war on terror has been an ongoing task for humanity, and I'm pretty sure God would want the good men in the world to fight the men who wish to harm humans, and let justice prevail.

"The men out there who are trying to make this world worse aren't taking a day off. Why should I?"

So no, not just the Iraq war, but ANY war where good must prevail over evil. Appeasement only leads to more innocent people dying. I thought we already learned our lesson when Chamberlain appeased Adolf Hitler in the 40's... I guess not yet. God wants us to turn the other cheek, but that doesn't mean you let yourself get stomped on. I don't care if you believe in God or not, but everybody believes in good beating evil.
