  1. Despite the fact that your comments are even more stupid than the war, yeah, it was a stupid move.  We're pouring way too much money down a rat hole and going deeper into debt.

  2. Your lack of comprehension is astounding.  The war despite it's length is still the most successful war ever executed.  We've taken over a country and only lost 4000 soldiers (contrast this with Vietnam were we lost 50,000 and didn't take over anything).  Bringing freedom to an entire country that has never had it is the most noble action you can undertake.  The long term benefit of this action will be tremendous.  Don't let your propaganda fueled blind hatred of George Bush cloud your judgment (at least more than it already has).  The US is fine and the economic problems are not related to the war.  They are a result of the mortgage crisis where uneducated people bought more than they could afford with a bad loan terms, again not GWB's fault.  I know liberals and uneducated people (i.e. liberals) have the urge to blame someone else for their problems but take responsibility for your own life and you will be fine.

  3. I don't agree with you about a reason of the mess in Iraq. Oil might have been seen as a bonus, but what we are trying to do is give them a sense of democracy, and a just government. That means showing that we have the power to halt any corrupt government, of which there are still many. I agree that the way GWB carried it out was not done well. However, we do need Americans over there, if not the great surges of troops Bush has been advocating. More diplomats, leaders with experience and respected figures might be able to do the job. Obama's plan is what this countries needs. Here's the transcript of it: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story...

He does spend a lot of time flattering Jews, but that's not a bad thing.

  4. there are certain things they gov't doesnt tell us so we have no right and we will never know why we went to IRAQ we just need to support what our ELECTED officials wanted.

  5. YO!

  6. Sneak some oil???? Read more. In the first gulf war Iraq invaded Kuwait. The US along with a number of other countries threw Iraq out of Kuwait and gained a cease fire from Saddam. Saddam had to meet certain conditions of that cease fire but never did. For 8 years Clinton failed to enforce the conditions of the cease fire. The UN had numerous sanctions applied to Iraq to meet those conditions. In October of 2002 congress passed public law 107-243 giving Bush the authority to invade Iraq and enforce the conditions of the 12 year old cease fire agreement. So he did.

  7. Stupid?

Wow, this is a mature question. You're what, 13?

Sweetie pie, you might want to read a little history. The currrent war in Iraq is nothing at all like Vietnam, except in the eyes of deluded 60s leftists who want that one little hurrah to feel like their pitiful lives had meaning.

  8. this is a totally needless & pointles war - it is also now difficult to get out of...& the bloody cheek of George Bush....is that he thinks he can take on the might of Iran....BIG mistake...let's hope the world will not stand with him on this one. ..& i doubt they will!!

i think the american's & the rest of the world will be glad when he is out of office!!
