I dont think he can help them much this year what do you guys say?

They still have to come together as a team.  Printers is a great athelete but Hamilton has a lot of improving to do!!!!

Casey Printers - not K.C. Printerz.  Anyway, I think they are WAY better now.  But - it doesn't matter how good your QB is if all his gains are wiped out by penalties, or if special teams and defensive penalties keep yielding field position.  There's also the danger that his ego gets in the way.  Hamilton has always been a working class city and team and this guy could become a real prima donna, if he isn't already!

Chris Schultz (TSN) predicted that they'll go to the Cup within the next three years (the duration of Printer's contract).

They will be better with Printers, however they need to do alot of work on the defensive secondary, it is too porous, and they change backs every week.

They need to play as a unit for a period of time, so that they will be cohesive.

Hamilton getting Printers is like putting a Hemi in a Hyundai Pony. They're still gonna suck.

Printers is just going to serve as a money eating machine to Hamilton, who will not be able to bring in better players because 12% of their salary cap is going to one person.

I think the question is, how long is Printers going to want to stay?

Hamilton has improved great deal, but is not going to become the best team in the league overnight. They do probally now have a chance to make the playoffs with Toronto in 3rd only having 2 more wins and Montreal loosing Cavillo.

They're not better yet... It's not a one man game and they have a lot of weaknesses...O line, Receivers, Defenseve Backfield...

The right QB can certainly drag the rest of the team up a level...suggest one just look at the NFL Patriots for an example here.  Mediocre team gets an unexpected performance from Brady back in 2002, and now they are among the elite franchises in all of North American pro sports.

This being said, I was at the Argo-Cat game on Saturday and the surrounding personnel...to call them mediocre might be a compliment.  I think Printers makes them better, absolutely...but then again, I don't think Moses could save this team right now.

Not gonna do much this year for them, you are correct, The way I look at it, he can't be worse than Maas. I think he feels like he has something to prove as well since he couldn't get off the practice roster in KC.

They ARE better, and Printerz will make them feel like WINNERS immediately.  The Ti-Cats DID win the Printerz lottery!!!  

Printerz changes their whole "culture of losing", although he may not be ready to make a difference this weekend!

He may not help them into the playoffs but he could effect the final standings.  If the Cats can beat the Peg or the Als it could change who gets homefield in the first couople rounds ion the east.
