  1. I'm sure the Rider haters don't like that they're in 1st place. But, honestly, I think it should have been a completed pass. My argument is such because the ball only came loose as a result of contact with the ground, he totally had possession after the one arm grab, and as he was going down. The ground can't cause a fumble, so, I think it should have been a touchdown.

I was also ticked at that 1 yard line stop by the Bombers, because, as much as I like KJ, he should have given the ball to Wes Cates: touchdown. Instead, they tried the same ole same and turn over on downs. But it was a great game, and thank goodness for the W. Now they have to be as convincing when they face WPG at home.

  2. It wasn't a completion!!!!   However the positive was that the riders didn't fold but kept on playing hard until they won the game.   Makes for a great Banjo Bowl in Winnipeg!!!!

  3. goodgyrl, the ground CAN cause a fumble. read the rules of the CFL.

Note: The old myth that the ground cannot cause a fumble is not completely true.

    1) If a ball carrier goes to the ground without contact, the ground can cause a fumble

    2) If a ball carrier goes to the ground after contact by an opponent, he should be ruled down by contact with no fumble.

    3) In the process of catching a pass before possession has been achieved, if the receiver goes to the ground, the ground can cause an incomplete pass.

it's a touchy issue. riders still won though, on a fantastic last series of play. so you cant really complain.

  4. But so was the interference was obvious on the bomber receiver, so what is your point lol

    stop whining your team won

  5. All season long it has been ruled by officials that the player has to keep control of the ball if he hits the turf.  The replay clearly shows he lost control of the ball, it was full visible from the side, below his hands.

  6. It sure was a great catch !! It looked good to me as well !!   Stupid new rule in CFL says you have to be in control of the ball in the endzone ?!?!?  Looked good to me though !!  I agree with you bro'

  7. i think the ref was right and replays arnt as good because u cant see from his angle

  8. Tough call to make.  Think it was the right one though.
