Who to contact about used cooking oil distribution?

I am looking to obtain some used cooking oil for biodiesal fuel. Is it best to call restaurants to ask if they will sell used cooking oil or the people who come and pick them up and how do I contact those people?

you could start with either the restaurants

and make some inquiries, or then again

why not go straight to the top and ring

the health department, food control section

you know food  hygiene they would know

where this oil is supposed to be going to.
