With as many deep potholes you have in the roads there, how can you tell when a manhole cover is gone?

The same gang that took the statues (and other metal that can be sold for scrap) from a cemetery in the same city.  The scrap yards are watching for them, with backup from the Michigan State Police.  They'll probably dump a lot of the stuff in the Flint River, along with a body or two.
