Trading LaDainian Tomlinson, Derrick Mason, Patrick Mason, and Donald Lee for

Plaxico Burress, Steven Jackson, Jeremy Shockey, and Joey Galloway.

Burress, Plaxico, and Shockey will all be on the bench (already have 3 better WR and a better TE), but Steven Jackson will start. Will it be wiser to just keep LT instead of upgrading the bench for bye weeks/injuries, or will his production be similar enough to Steven Jackson that it will be worth the trade? I guess I could also use these pieces to acquire a top 3 QB (currently have Marc Bulger...good, but unpredictable now).

  1. You are right about s-jax this year. alot of the "experts" are beleiving in him to get close to a 2000 yd season with double digits TD's. I think you should trade. Plaxico and Shockey are nothing to turn the other cheek about, especially now that Schockey is in New Orleans.  Yeah you could get a great #2 QB for Plaxico or Shockey. You have to  think outside the box, there is bound to be another LT somewhere soon, and its not Adrian Peterson. I've I placed second in my league last year without LT, and the winner won without him also.

  2. Man I wouldn't do that trade if I were you.  I believe LT will be a beast this year even more so then Steven Jackson. Just hold on to him and do like you said. Try and use those pieces for a better QB, you can always scour the free agent pool for bye weeks/injuries. Bulger is okay but you can do way better. Best of luck.
