I read the questions and responses from Obama supporters, and they call Palin all kinds of negative, sexist names. Yes, the right insults the left too, but I read far more insults from the left. To me it sounds like you aren't confident in your arguments, so you use extreme words, like "hate" and call McCain and Palin all the worst names in the book.

  1. You know they are just going to point at each other.

They're all hateful, that's all that matters.

  2. Just all the Bandwaggoners!!!

  3. Hey I got reported for saying Obama was growing a Hitler mustache after his berlin speech. It was a jab at him for even campaigning there but it was also in reference to how the Germans fell all over him. Thats about as nasty as I get. There are some nasty people on both sides, but the stuff some of these people say about Palins daughter is just uncalled for. I guarantee if they were any kind of parents if someone said that about their daughters, somebody be gettin a beat down. If I ever heard anyone say some of that stuff about one of my daughters, id be makin sure mama had bail money ready.

  4. Well the RNC convention so far has been pretty much Bash Obama.  Praise McCain.  The republicans are famous for their "red meat" campaigns.  But I think we're all used to it by now and want more real linformation

  5. You late to the party.  The right had been insulting Obama and Hillary during their extended primary season.  The left is just playing catch up.  It is about even.

  6. What is wrong with a little hate now and then? It balances things out.

  7. I think Republicans can sugar coat better and portray themselves as positive, and Democrats as negative. I think that there are terrible insult slingers on both sides, but higher up, with the actual politicians, the Democrats have been more respectful to McCain than Republicans are to Obama.

  8. Depends on which day you're here, really. Right now, there's a backlash against the RNC going on.

You're missing the racist/racially motivated slurs. Every time someone uses "Hussein Obama" instead of his first name, they're trying to scare up anti-Arabic fears.

That said, yes, a lot of people need to pipe down.

  9. I don't hate Palin or McCain as much as GWB.

When your own leader in office doesn't make a live in person address at your convention, it's like the defendant who doesn't the stand in his own defense. You know they're guilty. And GWB is guilty of a lot of wrongdoing.

I hope Obama is elected just to see him put GWB and the rest of his cronies to prison for war crimes. It's really pathetic what he has done.

  10. Let me quote Ann Richards, former Governor of Texas:

"Political campaigning is a contact sport!"

The democrats are reacting to the venom of the republican convention. I watched the democratic convention on C-SPAN, not to miss any speeches. All that was said was "John McCain doesn't get it or is wrong." What I heard tonight from Palin (Gidget) was nasty and linguistically inferior.

I was looking for a vision, a plan, something more than what she did in the past - I want to hear what she will DO in the future!

  11. Yes, but you see the whole thing in a very partial way. In the eyes of the Democrat supporters, McCain supporters send more hate our way then we send yours. Where are the Independants when you need them?

  12. By far its the left that uses violence threats and even resorts to blackmail to get their way.  Look at the so called 'anachists " who have atempted to disrupt the RNC, and the threats and blackmail with the use of words like racist, bigot etc etc etc.  The Democrats as we know them today dont use perusiaon to make you side with them they use outright threats and lies to force you to succumb to thier lies and hypocricy.  ------------------Doesnt matter after tonight at the RNC Obama and the Democratic party have no where to go but down. Your underhanded tactics have blown up in your face once again DEMS the truth always wins in the end !  BYE BYE !! See ya again in ohhhh bout 4 years and 2 months !

  13. It's a dead heat.

  14. I agree

  15. The Libs tend to get their panties all in a bunch and lash out when they it is pointed out that they may be wrong about something.

    Remember Gores loss to Bush?

Wahhh. Hanging chads! Waahhh! But he had more votes! Waahhh!

Wait until Obama is defeated. They will call the whole nation racist and say the election was rigged...

  16. Do you know how many times a night I read the n word or variations of that word on this forum?

  17. Racist Republicans

  18. I've never read such hateful, insulting and degrading things on here in such a consistant way as there has been on here in the last few days from the left.

  19. Ralph Nader is the king of hateful words.

Not red or blue, but green!

  20. It's all timing.  Obama got lots of negative attention during the primary campaign, and since Palin is just joining the campaign, it's her time to take the heat.

Also, unlike most who want constructive, inspiring and uplifting exchanges, I find that about 10% of people join movements to have contexts or platforms from which to espouse negative, even toxic beliefs.  Because of how vocal those folks tend to be when given a platform, I believe it's a mistake to give those folks any attention.  It simply offers fuel to the fire.

  21. All the Republicans ever know to do is point their fingers at anyone

who is not like them and reject those as well. Look at their convention.

It tells the whole story. White, white and white (and I am white), men, men and men and then a small number of others.

Nothing ever changes with them.. At least we are a diverse group.

A real make up of this great country.
