I think i'm  the minority on this one, as a Mexican myself, i was "expected" to root for Margarito but i was rooting and hoping Cotto would win. I'm happy that it was a really good fight but nonetheless my fighter lost.

I did, i was in between but since i never saw cotto lose i couldnt see him losing. However i thought it was a toss up and i wanted margarito to win but i wasnt sure he could do it.  And if i did think he would do it i was positive the only way he could win was like he did, by wearing cotto down and hitting him with his best punch the left uppercut and hitting him with flurries on the ropes, but i agree with you i wanted margarito to win but i wasnt sure he was going to, so my heart said margarito and my head said cotto, but he did it and im happy with the result.

That would be me.  Was tired of Cotto's fans going on and on.  I thought Marga had a shot by landing a surprise big shot to score a KO, but I didn't think he'd win by wearing out Cotto.

Of course now we have Marga's fans going on and on.  Careful what you wish for, folks...you may get your worst nightmare when your favorite fighter can't land any punches on fast Floyd Mayweather.

Me, I had doubts on margarito but seeing him fight Kermit Cintron in their second bout, I knew he had the best chance of beating cotto regardless of his loss against paul williams.
