If our elected officials are stupid enough to reward people who made a bad decision and got into a mortgage they couldn't afford - at the tune of $300 Billion of tax payer money, then shouldn't all the people who bought homes responsibly get rewarded for being smart and responsible?

  1. I totally agree. It costing me a lot more because I bought within my means but 25 miles from work. When will they he me with the price of gas. I can't remember what gas cost 18 years ago but it sure was not 4.00 a gallon. I think the government should help me. Not

  2. Not all of these people made bad decisions.  Many worked for companies that received tax breaks to move their jobs out of the country.  Its sad that we can throw away $600 billion on Iraq, $300 billion to N. Korea to stop Nuclear tests, and reward outsourcing, and Americans complain most when it comes to helping our own

  3. how are those people going to be "rewarded"  ??

    really do tell !

    --------------------

those people will lose their home and have their credit ruined !

    (same as always of course)

the bailout will be for the financial institutions

that smells of conservative antics - save the rich companies !

  4. No, they should not.

That would be politically incorrect and would violate the Liberal credo.

" One is rewarded for being stupid and irresponsible not vice versa."

  5. source?

  6. yes

I bought one and paid for it in 12 years.

I deserve a handout for that
