Democracy is a mockery. Being a number game, only the musclemen are successful in this game. Hence, we need to challenge the system by striking at its very base: The Constitution. It has served its purpose. It should be revised and revitalized to suit the need of time. We can not allow hooligans decide our (Common men's)fate. We can not go Communists. Capitalist approach is the best way provided it is checked and balanced. But the people in power won't let us do it easily. Because our endeavour would eat into their base. Hence, we have to find a different method which they can not face and abort. One thing is a must: shunning violence. Although violence has been the mainstay of today's political activities and we want to uproot it, we ourselves must shun it. Therefore, a dedicated, inopportunistic, unselfish band of people with a sustainale income with lot of energy and intelligence is needed to chart out the next revolution. It is coming - let us do our bit.

  1. Not me sorry

  2. Please read the book "from Socialism to sarvodaya" by Jayaprakash Narayan and his convocation address to the Banaras Hindu University, published in book form as "Yeh sampoorna kranti hai mitron". These two would give an inkling on the political thought process akin to yours. Also, if possible, an interaction with the aging Sarvodaya leader, Narayan Desai, now in Gujarat, in his Ashram, would help refining the ideas.

Contemporary political history since the split engineered by blatant misuse of official power, in the Congress party in 1969  by indiraGandhi, and the ramifications thereof, vulgarisation of the polity by all parties in varying degrees, the Emergency fraud, and the capitalist road from 1991 onwards, has created a consumerist society, wherein political activism with any reasonable chance of success looks bleak. Politics of the people would be quelled in no time, by the politics of power.
