  1. It will not help  !

  2. Git-r-Done.  Do it on the first week of June, I heard that others are doing the same thing on that week.

  3. This sort of thing has been tried over and over again.  Let's look at the results so far:

    <sounds of crickets chirping>

    You want to do something about the cost to drive?  Drive less.  Drive something more fuel efficient.  The bike may be a good idea for that.  Take public transportation.  Plan your trip so that you do multiple errands on one trip.  Carpool.

    If your plan somehow happened, all it would mean is that more people would buy gas ahead of time to get ready for it, or would buy it afterwards because they didn't plan ahead.

  4. I agree, Im fed up and doing it for a week. Heck, work is close so I'll do it for two!

  5. Boycotts like this won't work.  Just because gas isn't bought this day or week won't change the fact that right before and right after that time period, people will be filling up again.  I can fill up today, boycott the next week, and it won't hurt anything because I won't need gas until the week is done.  It's going to take everyone changing their driving habits and driving less EVERY day.

  6. what ralfcode said.

  7. I'm with you... but I don't really know how to get the entire USA to do this on the same day.
