I goto Las Vegas every year. And out of the many times i go, Ive been to area 51 5 times. Ive taken tons of pics and luckily never been bothered. But i have been chased out off of the area 51 road one time by 2 cammo dude trucks i never went over the line but i think they got P O'd with my extras pics. i was going about 50 MPH to get back on the main hgwy. Almost losing control. Im sure if they wanted to stop me they would  have. I honstley think they just wanted to scare the h**l out of me. Im going to vegas in 3 months. I told myself i would never goto area 51 again, but if i have someone with me i think i might.

You will not get even close.  

First you will have to go to Rachel, NV...then down the road to the "Black Mailbox."  Then you head west on the one road into Area 51.  Long before you get there sensors in the road pick you up.   Before you get to the gate the guards will be on the hill watching you come.   The second you get to the gate and cross it,  they swoop down and arrest you.  Then they call the local sheriff's office and they come get you .  You get hauled to the local sheriff's office and they charge you with trespass.  You have to post bail.  You have to come back to that county for your court date and trial.   You will waste a LOT of money and a LOT of time for something that was pretty dumb in the first place.  

Why not just use Google Earth and look at it form the air.

I know alot of people that go to Area 51. However ... not IN it lol.

If you're seriously wanting to go, you dont get any cell reception.., for obvious reasons... out there and its frickin coldddddddd at night.

and No gas station or town for like an hour away.. So take alot of food and warm clothing. and make srue your car is in really good condition. so you dont get stuck, otherwise youd be screwd, having to walk 60 miles to a town because of no cell reception.

Either way, yes they can shoot you with out warning. So I wouldnt suggest getting to close.
