He lets Ruutu go to Ottawa (Ottawa!) over one stinking year, overpays for Mark Eaton and almost loses Orpik -- not to mention the whole Hossa debacle. Now he's talking about bringing in Todd Bertuzzi? What's gotten into him. I thought he was smart. It truly is a shame about Ray.

i see what you are saying if the coyotes did that i would be mad in my opinon is that Ray does not want to be in control and more i mean if people dont like it i am sorry it is my opinon like i respect it when people has their own.

I like to give the benefit of doubt to most people in his position because in these times of sports business, and the fact that the Civic Arena doesn't generate the revenue to help the Pens keep their players, he has to make some hard choices while other unpopular ones are made by the agents, players, and other teams.

Give the guy a break. I mean how many times have paper champions stunk up the season and teams in the Pens current position surprised everyone?
