Who wants to walk for a cause?

I am an environmentalist trying to spread awareness about Global Warming and would like to start a walk. Any volunteers????

I think a walk makes more sense for global warming than most causes since you're trying to tell people to drive less.  Also a walk to raise awareness for obeisity would make sense.  I like it.

There are too many walks.    They block off the streets and force the traffic to take detours.   This causes traffic jams.   It takes longer to go where you're going.     That means your car is running for longer than it otherwise would be.

That means more CO2 is emitted.

So, I don't think a global warming walk would really work.

I called AL gore and asked him about this, his direct quote was " You want to start that walk you will be killng the bears for sure then. Cant you see them drowing in the ocean, there is no ice for them."

I refer to it as a scam, actually, and like other alarmists it seems you aren't sure which direction to face...whichever way the wind blows it seems.  Climate change isn't about cooling, it's about CO2 in the atmosphere causing the temperatures to rise.  That's the premise behind it.  So adding 'cooling' to your list doesn't support the agw arguement.  It severely weakens your stance.  

I do enjoy walking, however, but not to support Uncle Al.  Sorry.

i'll walk to warn and protect people from global cooling but i won't walk for a scam like global warming
